September featured activities
- September is Classical Music Month. Play classical music and ask
children to write or draw about how the music makes them feel.
- Give children a minute or two to choose three words they would
use to describe themselves. Ask children to introduce themselves
and share the three words that best describe them.
- Make a 3-D self-portrait. Stuff a brown paper lunch bag with newspaper
and use masking tape to seal the bottom. Paint if desired,
adding facial features and yarn hair.
